Hi, I’m Kelly. An experienced journalist, copywriter and qualified primary teacher with a passion for words, wellness and travel.
First up, some fun facts:
1. I’ve been telling stories since I could hold a pen. I started a family newspaper around the age of 8. It didn’t last long — apparently giving papers away for free wasn’t a viable business model, even then.
2. I believe holistic wellness can and should be accessible to everyone and I’m a big fan of low-mid budget wellness travel.
3. I wanted to be a ballerina when I grew up. This went downhill pretty quickly when I made my mother take me to a ballet lesson as a toddler, got yelled at by the teacher, immediately cried and refused to ever go back. In hindsight, this was probably for the best as I’m dangerously uncoordinated and always have been.
4. I’ve run three half marathons, four 10km events, and didn’t train for any of them. That’s not a brag, but it is a great example of my commitment level.

Okay, now onto the business stuff.
Yes, authenticity is a buzzword.
But here’s why it’s crucial.

How was I supposed to convince clients I could write authentic copy for them if I couldn’t create authentic messaging for myself? So I here I am embracing every multi-passionate part of me and encouraging you to do the same with your brand.

They’ll be loyal because they trust you and they believe in what you’re selling, not because you hit the algorithm jackpot and had a meme go viral.
