Introducing…me.
Hi, I’m Kelly. An experienced journalist, copywriter and qualified primary teacher with a passion for words, education and wellbeing.
First up, some fun facts:
1. I’ve been telling stories since I could hold a pen. I started a family newspaper around the age of 8. It didn’t last long — apparently giving papers away for free wasn’t a viable business model, even then.
2. I believe holistic wellness can and should be accessible to everyone and I’m a big fan of low-mid budget wellness travel.
3. I wanted to be a ballerina when I grew up. This went downhill pretty quickly when I made my mother take me to a ballet lesson as a toddler, got yelled at by the teacher, immediately cried and refused to ever go back. In hindsight, this was probably for the best as I’m dangerously uncoordinated and always have been.
4. I’ve run three half marathons, four 10km events, and didn’t train for any of them. That’s not a brag, but it is a great example of my commitment level.
Okay, now onto the business stuff.
I have a bit of a secret.
I’m not your average copywriter.
While I am an experienced marketer and journalist, I’m not just a writer; I’m a storyteller. My job isn’t just about putting words on a page, it’s about crafting narratives that engage, inform, and inspire action. I blend creativity with expertise to craft content that sparkles.
With 10 years’ experience across journalism and marketing, I’ve mastered the art of turning complex information into easy-to-digest content.
But that’s not all. I’m also an experienced primary teacher which means I’ve equipped hundreds of children with the tools to learn, grow and succeed – proof that I can create content for people of all ages and of all backgrounds. And after teaching 5 year olds for two years, I’m confident I’d be pretty good at wrangling kittens too.

My real superpower though, is that I’m a big advocate for authenticity.
In a world full of brands trying to shock their way to the top and a world full of AI-generated misinformation, it’s more important than ever to be trusted by your customers. Brands are often so busy trying to stand out that they lose track of who they actually are.
By creating authentic and consistent content and copy that speaks to your brand values, you’ll find your audience naturally comes to you and they’ll stay for longer. They’ll be loyal because they trust you and they believe in what you’re selling, not because you hit the algorithm jackpot and had a meme go viral.
If you want to make your business blow up overnight at any cost possible, I’m not the copywriter for you. But if you’re looking to boost conversions, bring your brand values back into focus and increase consumer trust, I’ve got you covered.
You focus on what you do best, and I’ll do what I do best — making your content sparkle through authentic brand storytelling.
